Puppets come to life and teach children of Liberty County valuable lessons about loving one another Saturday morning Brew ton-Parker College Liberty County Campus. Members of Bethesda Church will host Saturday Morning Alive, featuring the Kingdom Karactors puppet show, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. According to Bonnie Blank, founder of Kingdom Karactors, Saturday Morning Alive will feature a puppet show, "The Good, The Bad and The Buckleys." It is About a farmer and a rancher and how they learned to live along side each other in harmony. The puppet show is based on 1 Samuel 16:17. The scripture verse talks about how man looks at a person's outside, but God looks a person's heart, Blank said. "This puppet show teaches kids how to handle prejudice," Blank said. "It teaches how to handle anger and how to love one another." Blank said boys and girls could dress for the show and Wear their favorite western attire. She said the puppet show is geared for children between the ages of 6-9. "We would love to see them in cowboy boots and cowboy hats," Blank said. The puppet show is not the only activity at Saturday Morning Alive. Blank said, there will be an action song; a dance and the children will participate in two games. Blank said the next Saturday Morning Alive will be Oct. 18. She said during that program the children will learn about bullies. Saturday Morning Alive is free and parents are welcomed to stay and participate in the fun. For more information, call 369-5122. Brewton-Parker is on Highway 84 in Flemington. "Just as you go around the big curve on Highway84, Brewton-Parker is on the left side," Blank said.
